About Us Opened in 2014, Crown of India is the newest venture of the family that started, and still runs the oldest and most famous Indian restaurant in Pattaya. Crown of India aims to bring together the many eras of Royalty from different parts of India, from the Mughals to the Rajwadas, from the Nizams to the Maharajas. This is apparent in the decor and artwork that adorns the walls at Crown of India, giving the ambiance of dining in the royal dining halls in one of the palaces in India.
The menu at Crown of India has been pain strikingly put together to reflect the different flavors passed down, and made popular throughout the country, from the different kingdoms that once made up India. The food at Crown of India is cooked in clay ovens or tandoor, in the traditional style of the Indian North-West region. Another unique feature of the cuisine is the use of prime cuts of meat, marinated with the choicest of spices and skillfully cooked on high heat, while retaining their tender moistness. The curries are made up of the finest spices from around the subcontinent, grounded in house to retain the freshness of the flavor.
